cycloaliphatic amine epoxy versus polyamide epoxy

What is the difference between cycloaliphatic amine epoxy and polyamide epoxy? My use is to apply a red oxide two component epoxy primer whose main purpose is to protect steel surfaces from corrosion during transit to a power plant. The epoxy is not expected to provide any protection once in service.Once in service.
