Was wondering if titanium can be anodized to provide an electrical insulating barrier (dielectric barrier)? The application is a titanium cathode for electro-chemical machining (ecm). We tried an anodized aluminum cathode and the concept worked except for the imcompatibility of the aluminum with the electrolyte.
